“Where do I even begin! Writing this review feels like describing a dear friend, because that's what Liz has become to me. I first started taking voice lessons with her when I was just over fifteen years old. Now that I am twenty four, I can say I've been her student for almost a decade. Liz is more than just a teacher-- she is a mentor. And with that special dynamic I've been able to navigate preparing for college vocal auditions, overcoming anxiety with stage performances and recitals, and tackling the many technical components of singing.

Liz's vocal coaching is truly holistic. You don't just walk into the lesson and immediately start warm ups. First, she asks about my weekly practice, what (if any) stress I have been under, and about my health. And there have been times where, if my voice showed any signs of inflammation, Liz actually heard this in the warm up and suggested I NOT sing for the rest of that day in order to protect my voice. In addition, she has taught me how to determine when I need to go on vocal rest. This skill has become a huge asset to me as a singer/songwriter with gigs. I truly credit her with bringing my voice back after I had Covid and struggled with hoarseness for over eight weeks. 

Additionally, Liz has taught me how to sing in multiple styles. As a classically trained soprano, I first found it challenging to sing pop music in my chest voice. However, Liz gave me the technical skills and confidence to explore this part of my voice as well and not overlook my capabilities! You won't be boxed in or labeled if you're Liz's student! She truly believes that her students can do anything. 

If you want a teacher who pushes you to achieve your goals and invests in the relationship, then Liz is the one for you. I will remain a lifelong student!”

Liz is definitely the best voice teacher to work with! she is easy to coordinate lessons with and she was super flexible with my busy schedule. liz helped me extend my range SO MUCH and can pinpoint each little detail that i need to work on.
